Together with the Empower Youth for Work project team of Indonesia, a selected team of experts have analysed the context of the current challenges around the existing youth hubs. They have found solutions from all over the world and made a shortlist of those that are relevant and replicable to set up rural Hubs. It is learned from the previous experience and evaluations that it is important to promote sustainability of exchanges when developing the solutions. With this in mind, EYW Indonesia laid their eyes on the community based eco-tourism (CBT). An international learning group was then formed and a learning-exchange visit to Philippines was organized, through which the focus on youth as well as sustainable and culturally appropriate work for women was learned. With the joint efforts, the CBT is now booming and developing rapidly in Indonesia.
