Together with our consultant, Busara Clemence, we have found interesting best practices from Tanzania that are relevant and replicable – with some adjustment – to the engagement of the Ugandan youth in GALS. All of them have innovative approaches for including the four identified conditions for making GALS more attractive to young people:  (i) linked to income-generating activities; (ii) use of youth-friendly tools; (iii) use of role models; and (iv) use of digital tools.

The four identified solutions that are explained below will be evaluated by the team and those who suit the context and are more compatible with the GALS methodology will be selected for the online exchange visit.
